Our evidence-based education programs explore climate solutions through play-based learning.

Aligned to the NSW Curriculum, research, the Active Hope framework, Project Drawdown and UN Sustainable Development Goals, our real-world content ignites creativity, fosters problem-solving, and builds connections.

Delivery

We deliver interactive learning experiences that are designed to engage and empower every child.

Our programs reflect best practice: experiential learning can positively impact student motivation and engagement, student agency, wellbeing and academic achievement (Ranken et al. 2023)

Collaboration

Be The Future is founded by Sally Giblin, an award-winning solutionist, storyteller and creative for sustainability.

We collaborate with teachers to develop and evolve our pedagogy in alignment with curriculum, have collaborative programs with UNSW and Taronga Zoo Sydney, and have a growing team of passionate educators.

I’m an award-winning solutionist, storyteller and creative for sustainability.

I have a young son. And I want him - and the children in your life - to have a thriving future on this amazing planet.

I hold a Masters in International Development from UNSW and studied at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

I was recognised as a 2023 Emerging Leader by Environmental Education NSW. Be The Future was also a finalist in the 2025 NSW Sustainability awards, run by the Banksia Foundation and supported by the NSW Government.

I facilitate most of our Sydney based experiences. Plus we have a growing team of passionate, energetic, playful sustainability educators who deliver experiences with Be The Future.

Be The Future continually collaborates with teachers and educators to develop and evolve our pedagogy in alignment with curriculum.
