Think awe-inspiring storytelling, interactive digital floor games, and hands-on activities that capture the magic of climate solutions.

We can shape workshops to make the best use of your community venue, such as:

  • go on an edible treasure hunt through community gardens

  • build solar cars and race them outside in the sunshine

  • host highly interactive rotations indoors such as floor projections children change with their bodies and creating with preloved Lego/Dulpo

All play items used in our experiences are made from nature, reloved, upcycled, recycled or - last resort - the most sustainably made item we can find.

Nice to meet you! We’re Sally & Helen.

Sally and Helen looking excitable

Sally’s an award-winning solutionist, storyteller and creative for sustainability - and the Founder of Be The Future, in Australia. She’s also guaranteed to be the shortest person in any room. 

Helen’s an award-winning educator, designer and author for sustainability - and the Founder of sister social enterprise, It Started With a Sloth, in the UK. She’s also a gold-level clumsy person who’s guaranteed to be the one who face-plants on entering that room.

We’ve both got kids in our lives: Sally has a son and Helen has a nephew. And we want them - and the children in your life - to have a thriving future on this amazing planet.

Together we have 5 degrees, credentials from the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability and Climate Change Coaches, and many awards.

Sally facilitates our Sydney based experiences. Plus we have a growing team of passionate, energetic, playful sustainability educators who deliver experiences with us.

  • Our experiences are truly different.

    They burst with awe-inspiring interactive storytelling, interactive floor projection games, hands-on invitations to play and opportunities to create solutions.

  • Due to the highly interactive nature of our experiences, we recommend a maximum of 20 children at a time.

    We usually facilitate sessions with one sustainability educator where a parent/carer must accompany children.

    We can also facilitate sessions drop off sessions with two sustainability educators (7-12 years only).

  • Our Little Future Makers program is for little learners 2-5 years.

    Our Growing Future Makers program is for growing learners 5-12 years.

    We tailor our experiences to suit the age ranges & abilities of the children in attendance.

  • We offer seven themes for councils:

  • Absolutely. We love a creative challenge! We can incorporate your theme or other elements of learning into a custom experience.

  • Generally our sessions last for 1 hour. We can also do half day sessions.

  • It’s incredibly important to us.

    We provide all necessary Working With Children Checks, public liability insurance and Risk Assessment in your Experience Confirmation Pack.

  • Generally, Sally, our Australian cofounder and a solutionist, storyteller and creative for sustainability, facilitates early learning centre incursions.

    Plus we have a growing team of passionate, energetic, playful sustainability educators.

    All facilitators have current WWCCs.

  • We love to have an initial chat to best understand your needs and outcomes.

    We will then provide a quote based on your needs.

    Our pricing incorporates preparing play concepts, sourcing / creating sustainable materials, sustainability educator(s), experience setup, experience delivery, experience packdown, sanitising and travel time.
